Packwood Court is a newly built traditional Guest House, which combines style with all the home comforts you could wish for. Using reclaimed materials where possible, with beautiful polished oak floors. Their Bed and Breakfast is full of charm and character. Delicious home cooked evening meals are cooked on request.
Packwood Court is located in beautiful West Wales in the township of Laugharne, home to Laugharne Castle and the famous poet, Dylan Thomas. We are ideally positioned to visit Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire Tourist attractions, including The Botanic Gardens, Aberglasney House and Garden as well as the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coastline.

Laugharne is a magical place steeped in history, with its splendid handsome castle dating back to the 13th Century. Alongside the castle runs the Taf Estuary, which has remained unspoilt over the centuries, so is a natural habitat for a host of wild birds. Laugharne has miles of fantastic walks with spectacular views around every corner, which you could never tier of. These offer a wonderful alternative to the busy everyday lifestyle for a more relaxing stay.
Of course we must not forget the famous 'Dylan Thomas'. Laugharne was home to the poet, where he wrote lots of his work in his writing shed. Dylan Thomas spent many an hour in his favourite local pub, 'The Browns'. The boathouse where he lived also is an attraction for interested guests.
There are several superb golf courses only a short drive away from Packwood Court Guesthouse. We have safe, dry storage for your clubs and bags, so all you need to worry about is how to play as many courses as possible during your stay!
